Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M): English Bachelor's and Master's, Non-EU Fees in Rupees

UC3M is a young public university, founded in 1989, with campuses in Getafe, Leganés, Colmenarejo and central Madrid. It has one of the widest English offers of any Spanish public university: 15 bachelor's entirely in English, four with an English group, and about 25 master's.

Non-EU tuition

Madrid's regional decree makes non-EU students who are not residents pay the highest price band. A student stay in Spain does not count as residence, so Indian students pay these rates for the whole degree.

Is Spanish required?

Not for the English-taught degrees. Four bachelor's (Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Economics, Finance and Accounting) have both English and Spanish groups; choose the English group when you apply. For part-time jobs and internships in Madrid, Spanish helps a lot.

Admission route for Class 12 students

UC3M's bachelor's admit international students through Spain's general route: homologación of your Class 12 to the Spanish Bachillerato, UNEDasiss accreditation and, for competitive degrees, the PCE subject exams. The steps are on homologación and PCE. For a master's, you apply directly with your bachelor's degree.

Who it suits

Students who want an official public degree in English in Madrid, especially in economics, finance, data science and aerospace engineering. Its Master in Finance appears in the Financial Times ranking (31st in 2026), and its price is set by UC3M, not by the regional decree.

Common questions: UC3M

How much does UC3M cost for Indian students?

Bachelor's: €113.71, €128.57 or €136.44 per credit depending on the degree, so about €6,800–8,200 for 60 credits a year. Master's: €84.07 per credit for most official master's, about €5,000 a year, but many UC3M master's have their own prices of €120–330 per credit.

What English score does UC3M need?

B2 in all four skills for English-taught master's, for example IELTS 5.5–6.5 or TOEFL iBT 72–94 depending on the programme. Bachelor's students in English must prove B2 during the first year.

When does UC3M accept master's applications?

In rounds: for 2026/27 they ran from 1 December to 31 January, 1 February to 31 March and 1 April to 31 May, with places still open in some master's after that. Apply in the first round for the best chance.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Admitted master's students pay a reservation fee of €450–3,000, depending on the programme, which is deducted from tuition.
